Major Verdict publishes articles about websites, marketing, apps and technology for law firms, and case studies of our own work. This page explains how they are produced, how we handle mistakes, and what others may do with what we publish.

Marketing Articles and Case Studies

Articles about law firm websites, marketing, apps and technology are written by Major Verdict and reflect our own experience and opinion. They are not legal advice and are not a compliance guide to attorney advertising rules. Where an article cites a figure or a source, we link to it.

Case studies describe work we actually did for real clients, are published with the client's permission, and report what happened for that client under their conditions. They are not a promise of results for anyone else.

Independence. Our editorial decisions are made independently of our clients and advertisers. Whether a firm is a client has no bearing on whether or how we report on its work, and we do not accept payment to publish, alter or remove an article or a case study.

Corrections

We correct factual errors promptly. If you see something that needs correcting, contact us and include any supporting documentation. We will update the entry and, where the correction is material, note that it was made.

Reuse and Republication

All content published on Major Verdict is protected by copyright and belongs to Major Verdict, LLC. Our articles and case studies are not available for reprint or republication without prior written permission.

Not permitted:

• Reproducing, republishing or redistributing any article or case study in whole or in substantial part.
• Scraping, copying or programmatically extracting content from this website.
• Republishing our content on other websites, in newsletters, on social media or in print.
• Creating derivative works based on our original reporting.

Permitted:

• Linking to any article with a brief excerpt of no more than two sentences and clear attribution, for example "Source: Major Verdict" with a link to the original.
• Sharing links to our articles on social media.
• Quoting brief passages for commentary, criticism or academic purposes consistent with fair use under U.S. copyright law, with full attribution.
